Thank you for the extended coverage of Christian perspectives in the Saturday edition of The Times in Ventura County.

I was particularly impressed by Regina Hong’s article about Pastor Francis Chan (“Pastor Envisions Christianity,” Oct. 17). Her piece about Linda Ritterbush (“Geologist Explores Faith-Science Dialogue,” Nov. 7) was a good introduction to the evolution versus creationism argument within the science community.

I encourage you to continue pursuing news about Christian men and women in Ventura County. In our society, where paganism is usually forced upon us in all media, Jesus Christ still shines through the lives of many people.
