Secession From L.A.

Although catch phrases seldom provide sufficient insight to be of use, one meaningful one does come to mind upon reading Bob Scott’s Nov. 11 commentary, “Secession Is the City’s Only Hope.” That catch phrase: You either believe in self-determination or you don’t. It was refreshing to see someone in Scott’s position who has the courage to support such a bold and principled philosophy concerning the future of Los Angeles.
