Celebrity Financial Advisor Plans Merger

NKS Management Inc., which specializes in advisory services to the rich and famous, is expected to announce today that it will merge with Canadian financial services firm Assante Capital Management. Century City-based NKS is expected to keep its name and operate independently. The terms of the deal were not revealed. NKS provides financial services such as buying homes and paying bills for the wealthy. Its client roster includes such celebrities as David Letterman and Roseanne. The combination will help NKS “take even better care of our clients with comprehensive, integrated portfolio and asset management programs through Assante’s access to the world’s best investment managers,” NKS President Mickey Segal said.
