Advanced Photonix Adds Pair to Board of Directors

Harold A. Blomquist and M. Scott Farese have been elected to the Board of Directors of Advanced Photonix in Camarillo.

Blomquist is president of American Microsystems in Tokyo; senior managing director and chairman of the board of AMI GmbH in Dresden, Germany; senior vice president of Business Operations Worldwide, and a member of the board of directors for both AMI and AMI Holding Co. AMI is an electronic component manufacturer.

Farese is a regional sales engineer / representative for Filtertek Inc., an independent producer of custom filtration products and fluid control devices, and a manufacturer of custom molded filter elements. Filtertek is a subsidiary of ESCO Electronics Corp.

Advanced Photonix designs and manufactures silicon photodetectors.
