Staying on the Right Track

You decided to move your butt around a bit more and you’ve actually followed through and done it. Good for you. But now maybe you’re having trouble keeping up the physical activity. Some ways to stick with it:

* Plan your activity by writing it on a calendar. (You write down lunch with the guys, don’t you?)

* Take the kids and the dog and go for a walk after dinner instead of plopping down in front of the TV.

* Set an alarm clock to remind you when it’s time for a break. Not just any break, but an activity break.

* Promise yourself rewards.

* Set weekly or daily goals (no, just thinking about activity daily or weekly doesn’t count).

* Track your progress.
