Benefit Will Feature Actors’ Favorite Stories

“Beloved” screenwriter Akosua Busia will join actors including Samuel L. Jackson, Danny Glover, Alfre Woodard, CCH Pounder and Charlaine Woodard tonight in “Have I Got a Story to Tell,” a fund-raiser for the Crenshaw District’s West Angeles Counseling Center.
The celebrities will read from and share their personal reflections on favorite stories.
The event takes place at 8 p.m. at the West Angeles Christian Arts Theatre, 3020 Crenshaw Blvd.
Tickets are $50-$100.
