Camarillo 19, Santa Barbara 14--Quarterback Garrett Valencia had a hand in all three scores for the Scorpions (8-3), throwing for one touchdown and running for two at Camarillo.

Valencia completed eight of 20 passes for 148 yards and Greg Rountree handled the ground game with 149 yards in 20 carries.

Camarillo (8-3) struck first on a one-yard run by Valencia with 7:10 left in the first quarter. After Santa Barbara (6-5) tied the score, 7-7, Camarillo took the lead for good when Loren Cerny caught a five-yard pass from Valencia with 48 seconds left in the first half.

Following a scoreless third quarter, Valencia scored again on a three-yard run midway through the fourth quarter for a 19-7 lead.
