MAKING CONNECTION

The California Coalition Against Sexual Assault is challenging people to take a serious look at why rape and sexual assault occur.

Although an attack by a stranger captures the public’s attention, in nearly 80% of sexual assaults, the attacker is someone the victim knows, whether that be a friend, neighbor, boyfriend or family member.

The nonprofit organization is focused on prevention, intervention, education, research and public policy.
