Fields Aircraft Spares in Simi Valley reported sales of $6.1 million and net income of $242,000 or 8 cents per diluted share for the third quarter that ended Oct. 2.
A year earlier, third-quarter sales were $3.4 million and net income was $161,000 or 7 cents per diluted share.
The 79% increase in sales this year included $1.5 million in sales by Flightways Manufacturing and $521,000 as a result of including sales by Skylock Industries. Flightways was acquired in January and Skylock in April.
“With our continued growth in the third quarter, we have achieved our seventh consecutive quarter of record revenues,” said Alan Fields, president of Fields Aircraft Spares.
The company manufactures aircraft cabin interior replacement products and is a redistributor for a variety of factory new parts used by most commercial aircraft models and manufacturers.
