A Thanksgiving Day dinner for needy families will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Key Center at Placentia Presbyterian Church, 849 N. Bradford Ave. Last year, the church served more than 100 people. The holiday dinner is an extension of the church’s soup kitchen, held every Thursday night. Monetary donations, canned goods and other food and beverage items are welcome for the church’s ongoing outreach efforts. Information: (714) 528-1438.
