Re “Latinos at Center of Chicken-Egg Debate Over Child-Care Funds,” Sept. 29:
Now, let’s think about this logically: Should we really waste taxpayer money subsidizing child-care facilities for Latinos, when study after study has shown that children raised by parents or close family members are healthier and socially better-adjusted?
The Latino community should follow their consciences and raise their children at home.
