Printronix’s Net Income Drops

Printronix Inc., an Irvine manufacturer of computer printers, posted net income of $2.7 million, or 37 cents a share, for the second fiscal quarter, a 27% decline from the $3.7 million, or 45 cents a share, recorded for the prior-year period. Sales for the quarter ended Sept. 25 rose 2% to $41.7 million from $40.8 million.
