Buena Park Man, 23, Fatally Shot After Traffic Dispute
A 23-year-old Buena Park man was shot and killed after an apparent traffic dispute Tuesday evening at the busy intersection of Los Alamitos Boulevard and Katella Avenue, police said.
Police said Chad Huber was traveling in a car south on Los Alamitos Boulevard when he and two companions became embroiled in an argument with three men in a pickup, Police Cpl. R. Chamberlin said. When the two groups reached Katella Avenue, Huber and a man from the truck each got out of their vehicles, he said.
The man from the pickup fired multiple rounds at Huber, then fled.
Paramedics and police responded at 10:44 p.m. Huber was taken to Long Beach Memorial Hospital, where he died.
