6 Workers Injured in Blast

MOSES LAKE, Wash. —
An explosion and fire at a computer industry plant sent potentially lethal fumes into the air and injured six workers, four of them critically.
The blast occurred at Advanced Silicon Materials Inc. after a pipe ruptured, releasing hydrogen, silicon tetrachloride and trichlorosilane late Thursday.
