Anaheim Man Dies in Freeway Crash
A 60-year-old Anaheim man was killed late Saturday in a two-vehicle collision on the eastbound Foothill Freeway in Pasadena, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash, reported to the CHP about 10:20 p.m. Saturday, happened near Madre Street, CHP Officer Bob Granieri said.
Granieri said Donald Jose Briceno had stopped on the freeway because of an accident ahead when a car driven about 60 mph by a 19-year-old woman from San Luis Obispo rear-ended his vehicle.
Briceno was transported to a hospital, where he later died, Granieri said.
