Hotel and casino operators Circus Circus Enterprises Inc. and Mirage Resorts Inc. have agreed to dismiss lawsuits filed against each other dealing with the development of casinos along the so-called H-Tract in Atlantic City, N.J., Circus said. The H-Tract is a parcel of land near Atlantic City’s marina district that Mirage, Circus and a third gaming company, Las Vegas-based Boyd Gaming Corp., have sought to develop for two years. Their plans, however, have been delayed by lawsuits and the complications of building a highway to the property. In July, Mirage entered an amended joint venture with Boyd to develop a casino resort on the H-Tract. Mirage and Circus, both based in Las Vegas, have agreed to keep terms of the settlement confidential, Circus said in a statement. Separately, Mirage opened the ultra-luxurious Bellagio, the newest resort and casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
