FileNet Corp.: The Costa Mesa document management software company said it lost $5.8 million, or 18 cents a share, for the third quarter, contrasted with net income of $1.9 million, or 6 cents a share, for the 1997 third quarter. Revenue was up 10% to $71.2 million from $65 million.
