CRAFTS FAIR: St. Jude’s Episcopal Church, 111 S. 6th St., Burbank, will host a pre-holiday crafts fair from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.

More than 30 crafts vendors from the San Fernando Valley will display and sell homemade merchandise, including Christmas ornaments and decorations, quilts, needlepoint, tole painting, glass items, homemade jams and breads. AUTUMN FESTIVAL: Shadow Hills Presbyterian Church, 10158 Johanna Ave., Sunland, will host its fifth annual Autumn Festival to benefit Ahead with Horses, a nonprofit organization that uses horseback riding as therapy for disabled children. The festival will run today from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Activities include food and crafts booths, petting zoo, face painting, children’s games, live music, a quilt raffle, magic show and a silent auction. A barbecue dinner and dance are scheduled tonight and a bluegrass contest will be held all day Sunday. Admission is free. Information: (818) 353-2500.

ORIGINAL PLAY: St. John’s in the Valley United Methodist Church, 20600 Roscoe Blvd., Winnetka, will present “Brothers,” an original chancel drama, which will be performed during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship service. Free. Information: (818) 341-6434.

JUDAISM CLASS: Congregation Beth Shalom, 21430 Redview Drive, Santa Clarita, will hold “The Jewish Way,” a 10-week class open to everyone, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., beginning Sunday.
