MTI Technology Names Brown to Oversee Product Development

Dan Brown has been appointed corporate vice president of product development for MTI Technology Corp. in Anaheim. Prior to joining MTI, Brown was senior vice president of engineering at Storage Concepts in Irvine, and vice president and managing director for the I/O product division at Western Digital in Irvine.

Lee Bridges has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president of key accounts for Superior Business Network in Newport Beach. He joined the company in 1996 as a marketing manager for its Online Yellow Pages. In addition, Charles J. Specht was named regional sales manager. He joined the company in May after serving as general manager of the Annual Guides for the Arts in Tustin and national sales manager of the Legal Sourcebook in San Diego.

David Mensch has been named president of Commonwealth Energy in Tustin, a provider of electricity. He was formerly executive vice president. Mensch, a founding partner of Commonwealth, will oversee day-to-day operations of the company, including shareholder relations, operations, marketing, power services and accounting. Mensch previously spent four years as general manager of operations for First Commodity Corp. of Boston and eight years as director of operations for American National Franchise Consultants Inc.

Takaharu Kobayakawa has been named vice president of product planning and design for Mazda North American operations in Irvine. Previously, Kobayakawa was director of basic design and product technology, and vice president of Mazda Research and Development of North America Inc.

Clive Hudson has been appointed vice president and general manager of Entrega Technologies Europe, the new European subsidiary of Lake Forest-based Entrega Technologies. He joined the company from U.S. Robotics, now part of 3Com Corp, where he was vice president, Europe.

Deni Richard and Scott Eisenberg have been appointed to the board of directors og Incomnet Inc. in Irvine. Richard is president and chief executive of the company. Eisenberg is director of product management for CyberCash.
