* Re “Strohmeyer Partly Blames Others,” Oct. 15: Jeremy Strohmeyer and David Cash should take responsibility for their own actions and choices. Don’t try to put your bad mistakes on anyone else.

Jeremy Strohmeyer, if you are “prepared, indeed willing, to be punished,” you should be prepared and indeed be willing to suffer the same fate as your victim.

David Cash, if you witnessed any of the incident and did nothing, that means you aided and abetted and that makes you an accomplice. Come forward and take your punishment like a real human.

* Too bad it is politically incorrect to point out that bigotry is alive and well in the African American community. Not only does Leroy Iverson, the father who left his 7-year-old daughter alone in a casino while he gambled at 3 a.m., feel that her death was a racial crime, he feels Strohmeyer needs to be “hogtied and dragged behind my car.” A really sensitive and intelligent suggestion as to how justice would be best served.
