DDL Electronics Changes Name to SMTEK International

The board of directors for DDL Electronics Inc. in Thousand Oaks has approved a change of the company’s name to SMTEK International Inc.

SMTEK International shares are now trading under the ticker symbol SMK on the New York and Pacific stock exchanges.

President and Chief Executive Officer Gregory L. Horton said the transition to the SMTEK International name “perpetuates a 13-year reputation of quality, design, engineering and automated production services” established by its operating subsidiary SMTEK Inc. in Thousand Oaks.

DDL Electronics provides customized electronics manufacturing services to original equipment manufacturers in the computer, telecommunications, instrumentation, medical, industrial and aerospace industries. It also makes multilayer printed circuit boards for the computer, communications and instrumentation industries.
