Ramos Elected VP of Latino Group

Enriqueta Ramos has been elected vice president for the Assn. of Latino Community College Trustees, which helps develop leadership skills and educational services nationwide.
Ramos, who earned her doctorate in comparative culture at UC Irvine, is a former Rancho Santiago Community College District trustee who has taught English, Spanish and social studies throughout her academic career. She has been treasurer of the Latino trustees group.
She has received honors from the Orange County Hispanic Education Endowment, the Hispanic Bar Assn. and the Assn. of Mexican American Educators.
