ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

Rainbow Technologies Inc.: The Irvine computer security company said net income for the third quarter declined 4% to $2.7 million, or 22 cents a share, from $2.8 million, or 24 cents a share, for the 1997 third quarter. Revenue increased 20% to $26.8 million from $22.3 million.
