Cal Lutheran Leader to Receive Award
The president of California Lutheran University will receive a community service award this month on behalf of the school’s efforts to develop and promote multicultural programs.
Luther Luedtke will be presented the award by the Conejo Valley Anti-Defamation League at a ceremony Monday at Temple Etz Chaim.
David Lehrer, regional director of the league, commended the university for having programs to introduce students and community members to a variety of multicultural issues through lectures, seminars and events. Lehrer also recognized Luedtke’s work in Germany, India and the U.S. Information Agency.
