Florida Firm to Acquire Payless Communications

Erawest Inc. of Clearwater, Fla., said Monday it has agreed to acquire Payless Communications Inc., a Santa Ana provider of long-distance services and prepaid phone cards, for cash and stock valued at $15 million.

The transaction should be completed within 60 days, according to Erawest, a telecommunications company.
