American National Financial Plans IPO

American National Financial Inc. has filed plans to sell stock to the public for the first time. The Irvine-based provider of title insurance and real estate-related financial and information services plans to offer 1.25 million shares of common stock, according to documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company said it expects the offering to be priced at $10 to $12 a share, and that proceeds will be used for general purposes. Cruttenden Roth Inc. will underwrite the offering.
