Re the investigation of Harold Ickes, Sept. 2: If Atty. Gen. Janet Reno is so concerned about investigating which politico was bought off by which business concern, why doesn’t she check out the number of Congress members who accept money from tobacco companies and perhaps we will know why the tobacco bill ultimately failed.
