Contraception

How wonderful that emergency contraception is now available in a simple packaged form (Sept. 3). How sad that it is a prescriptive item. Despite the packaging, this form of contraception will still not be readily available to most women in need because of the prescriptive nature. This item should be stocked on pharmacy shelves along with condoms, foam and spermicides. Are women still being controlled in the area of reproductive choice or what?
