Sydney Tap Water Still Dangerous

Sydney’s water contamination problem hit a new crisis level with the federal government offering to step in amid new reports that the city’s tap water may not be safe to drink for up to six months. Residents and visitors to Australia’s largest city have been told not to use tap water unless it has been boiled for at least one minute because of contamination by the dangerous microscopic organisms giardia and cryptosporidium.
