Police are investigating the slaying of three young people in the same Denver suburb where six were killed on Labor Day. But police in Aurora said they did not believe that the latest attack, which also left one person seriously wounded, was related to the Labor Day killings. “It’s just an unfortunate set of circumstances and coincidences that this would happen in the same week,” spokesman Bob Stef said. Police said gunmen bound the four people before killing them. The victims were two males, 15 and 17, and two females, 16 and 23. Stef said police would not identify which of the four had survived to protect the investigation. Police were looking for three men who were seen fleeing the crime scene.
