Housing Group Hosts Conference

The Southern California Assn. of Non-Profit Housing will hold its 10th annual conference on Sept. 25 at the Omni Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

Former state Sen. David A. Roberti (D-Los Angeles) will be honored at the conference for his work on behalf of affordable housing. Times staff writer Hector Tobar will receive the association’s first media award for his reporting on converted garages and slum housing.
