Judge Rejects Offer of Bail for Du Pont

A judge in Wilmington, Del., rejected a du Pont heiress’ offer of $4-million bail for her husband’s release from jail. He is charged with hiring a woman to kill his stepson’s girlfriend. U.S. Magistrate Judge Mary Pat Thynge told Christopher Moseley, 58, he would remain in prison until he could be sent to Nevada, where the killing took place. Lisa Dean Moseley, 69, watched as U.S. marshals led her husband from the courtroom.
