And the floor plan fit too

Dan Jimenez and Wendy Salvatore found the perfect buy in Brea.
Jimenez, 48, an insurance agent, and Salvatore, 43, a real estate agent, wanted to buy a house in Brea so they would be close to their jobs.
“We picked it because we liked the house, the location and the floor plan--it fit our family’s needs,” said Wendy, 43, who was also the real estate agent who listed the property.
The couple, who have three children, bought the spacious, four-bedroom, two-bath house for about $270,000.
“That was a good buy,” Wendy said of the 21-year-old house. “We bought it because it didn’t need any work--nothing major.”
Wendy said they decided to buy now since housing prices were escalating: “It seemed like the right time to buy, before prices got out of hand like they were in 1990--before they got so high you were priced out of the market.”
