The minute Dilshad Jamal stepped inside the spacious, four-bedroom Lake Forest home, there was magic.
"When we saw this home, it was beautiful. We fell in love with it," said Dilshad, 51, an executive secretary for a health-care company.
The 3,100-square-foot home was also priced right, at about $360,000, she said.
Jamal and her husband, Firoz, 52, an accountant, bought the house in June. What they liked most was its floor plan and amenities: It has a large bonus room, a family room, swimming pool and spa. And the home faces the community pool and a greenbelt area.
"The scenery and greenery is beautiful," Dilshad said.
The couple decided the market was right to sell their 1,300-square-foot Irvine home and look for a larger house.
In March, the Jamals, who have two adult sons, began their search for a house in Irvine, where they have lived the past 10 years. But with housing prices in Irvine higher than what they wanted to pay, the couple turned to Lake Forest.
"I feel so blessed," Dilshad said of her new home.
