Library to Reopen Homework Center
The Homework Center at the Albert Soliz Library will reopen Monday.
The center will be open from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and will be supervised by Pat Germann.
Internet access, a word-processing computer and homework helpers are all available to those who study at the center.
The center is also looking for volunteers to help students with reading and math. Volunteers must be willing to commit at least two hours a week for five months. No special training is necessary to be a volunteer, and the library services staff will provide the basic training to volunteers to help students.
For more information, call Germann at 485-4515 or Supervisor John K. Flynn’s office at 487-6331.
