Names of Plane Crash Victims Released

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office on Wednesday released the identities of two men killed over the weekend when their twin-engine plane crashed in Saugus.
The dead men were identified as 73-year-old Charles C. Grey, a dental lab operator from Sherman Oaks, and Geoffrey M. Cathers, 51, of Los Angeles, according to coroner’s official David Campbell.
Grey’s identity was known immediately following the accident. But his identification and his passenger’s were confirmed by dental records, Campbell said.
No one else was injured when the twin-engine Cessna sliced through power lines and burst into flames in a 200-foot-wide field at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, missing neighboring homes..
