LOVELAND, Ohio — Congress may not be ready to start the impeachment process against President Clinton, but the Loveland City Council is.
The council of this Cincinnati suburb, population 9,990, Wednesday forwarded to Washington a demand that the impeachment machinery be turned on, claiming to be the first local government unit in the country to go on record for it.
The resolution was sent Wednesday to members of Congress, with a courtesy copy to the White House.
