Latino Business Group to Host Candidate Talk

The Latino Business Council will host a candidates forum Oct. 15 at the Costa Mesa Community Center.
Six candidates are vying for two open City Council seats in the Nov. 3 election. Councilman Gary Monahan is the only incumbent in the race. Mayor Peter Buffa is retiring from the council at the end of the year.
Other candidates are Caroline Butler, Linda Dixon, James Fisler, Lawrence Jones and Chris Steel.
The forum is from 6 to 10 p.m. in the community center’s Adams Room, 1845 Park. Ave.
