County Hospital
If there are any philanthropists out there agonizing over where to unload $20 million or so--art center, educational center, concert hall, etc.--they might give a thought to the currently critical need for funds in Lincoln Heights. It’s called the County-USC Medical Center and it’s a hospital.
However, given the Board of Supervisors’ proclivity for diverting massive amounts of money for things like bike trails, speed bumps and picnic tables, perhaps not.
