Gala Nets $200,000 for OCC Scholarships
Orange Coast College raised $200,000 for scholarships during its 50th Anniversary Orange Tie Gala.
Nearly 700 people celebrated the college’s anniversary last Sept. 19 at the Hyatt Regency Irvine.
The OCC Foundation also received a $100,000 pledge from Hubbard C. Howe Jr. of Virginia City, Nev., who’s father, Hubbard Howe Sr., was the first president of OCC’s Board of Trustees.
