June Reyno Moss; 20-Year Resident of Ventura

June Reyno Moss, a 20-year Ventura resident who had lived in Minneapolis since 1989, died Sept. 18 at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis after a long illness. She was 64.

Born in Minneapolis on June 6, 1934, Moss moved to California in 1967 and came to Ventura in 1968 with her husband, attorney Harry W. Moss.

She worked as an administrative assistant for several Ventura firms, including M.H. Price Paint Co. and R.E. Barber Inc. She was a homemaker and cared for the children of several Ventura families. Moss returned to Minneapolis after the death of her husband in 1989.

Moss is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lt. Francis R. and Jennifer Blocker Moss of Ft. Hood, Texas; daughters Alice and Laura, and grandson Alec, all of Minneapolis; and by her stepsons Harry of San Francisco, Stephen of Pismo Beach and Kioren of Ventura. She is also survived by her foster sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Clifford Swenson of Shafer, Minn.

Mass was held Thursday in Minneapolis with interment in New Hope, Minn. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Moss’ name to the Ventura YMCA Children’s Corner, 3760 Telegraph Road, Ventura 93003, or to a favorite charity.
