ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

Chicago Pizza & Brewery Inc.: The Mission Viejo operator of casual restaurants reported a fourth-quarter net loss of $199,000, or 3 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $284,000, or 4 cents a share, for the 1997 fourth quarter. Revenue rose 9% to $7.2 million from $6.6 million. Net income for the year totaled $85,000, or 1 cent a share, compared with a net loss of $315,000, or 5 cents a share, for 1997. Revenue advanced 15% to $30.1 million from $26.2 million.
