FULLERTON
Open enrollment for Beechwood School begins at 9 a.m. today. The school will open this fall after being closed for 19 years. Students from the Beechwood and Rolling Hills areas will have first choice on classroom spaces, but there will be room for transfers from other district schools, Principal Sue Faassen said.
Students will have the opportunity to select school colors, a mascot and provide other suggestions. Parents have formed a PTA chapter, the first in the district in several years.
