The City Council is seeking applicants for a spot on the local cable television station board; the Villa Park Community Access Television Corp. produces programming on Channel 3. Applicants must be city residents and at least 18 years old. The board member would be expected to do just about everything needed to get programming on the air: filming, editing and coming up with production ideas. The station airs Tuesdays from 7:30 to 10 p.m. and shows City Council meetings and such programs as “Meet the Mayor.” The council will make the board appointment on April 27, so applications must be in by then. Information: Teri Elmendorf, (714) 997-9288.
