DaimlerChrysler is expected today to be the first major auto maker to report its March sales results. U.S. car and light-truck sales, fueled by low interest rates and rising wages, are expected to show a 10% gain in March and set a record for the first quarter, analysts said. Ford is to report its March sales on Tuesday, General Motors on Wednesday.
