No Show Tunes?

There was another programming change at KGIL-AM not mentioned by Steve Hochman (Around the Dial, March 18). KGIL canceled Donald Feltham’s “Showtune Spotlight,” which had aired Sunday afternoons. The loss of “Showtune Spotlight” is the final nail in the coffin of the all-show-tunes format KGIL debuted in August 1997.

It’s a shame there can’t be one radio station devoted to the music of Broadway and Hollywood.
