2 Inprise Execs Quit Without Explanation

The chief executive and chief financial officer of Inprise Corp.--which was known as Borland International until it was renamed last year--have quit the company without notice or explanation. The resignations of CEO Delbert Yocam, a well-regarded veteran of Apple Computer Inc., and financial officer Kathleen Fisher raised concerns among financial analysts about the company, which makes software for businesses.

Scotts Valley, Calif.-based Inprise said the two executives were not forced out.
