EU Cuts Coming?
The European Central Bank and the Bank of England are likely to cut interest rates, maybe as soon as Thursday, to spur sluggish economic growth. Europe’s two main central banks are under pressure from companies and governments to lower borrowing costs, boosting consumer and corporate spending as falling exports to Asia and Latin America darken the outlook for economic growth.
