Share

Intel Corp. will announce new products today that will allow homes with two or more PCs to share Internet access, printers and other peripheral devices over existing telephone wiring. Analysts say the products will be based on technology from Pleasant Hill, Calif.-based Tut Systems and will attempt to exploit the burgeoning market of homes with multiple PCs--anticipated to reach 2 million by next year. In the last year, Intel has moved aggressively into networking equipment, from homes through medium-size businesses.
