Cool Weather to Persist Through the Weekend

It’s spring, but the weather will be more like winter for the next few days.

Cool temperatures with light clouds and winds are expected to continue through Sunday in the San Fernando Valley, said Bonnie Bartling of the National Weather Service.

“In the Antelope Valley, there could be gusts up to 60 mph and low temperatures in the mid-30s,” she said.

Light showers with west winds of 20 to 30 mph are forecasted for the Valley today and temperatures should dip into the low 40s tonight.

By Saturday, the high is expected to be near 70, but patchy clouds and breezes will make it seem cooler, Bartling said.

“Sunday, it will be cloudy again with a bigger chance of rain and temperatures dipping again,” she added.”

The high in the Valley is expected to be in the mid-60s Sunday with the low in the 40s.
